It’s good to talk about it but let’s start doing something about it. As Merlin Mann says, if it were a priority it would be done by now.
Also, Starbucks not revealing the number of disposable cups they sell isn’t a surprise. And its not difficult to figure out how many they sell. Look at earnings over the time period, assume roughly 75% are hot beverages, average the prices of their hot beverages (since those come in the paper cups), then divide adjusted earnings by average price and you have a good estimate at how many disposable cups Starbucks sells.
