Techstars has been officially over since the 17th of August. However we were able to stay in the office space until the 29th. Today was the first day we did not have use of an actual office. We temporarily used The Cup on Pearl Street and then kind of roamed around from meeting to meeting.
Ari, Rob and Ben loaded a U-Haul with some office furniture in Denver. They drove back to Boulder and we unloaded it in the new office space.
Tomorrow we are thinking we will start using it but there are some to-dos. Most important is network and internet access, lightbulbs and toilet paper. And possibly some sort of air fresheners. And probably mold removal.
Its exciting thought. Six of the 10 teams selected for Techstars are staying in Boulder and are going to continue working in the same office space together. In addition to the unparalleled mentorship and network building, the open, communal office space was extremely helpful. We all realized this and wanted to continue that for as long as possible.
There is a lot waiting for us. What i am most looking forward to tomorrow morning is this sort of cool calendar and letter board near the entrance. I will post a picture of it tomorrow. Once we have the things we want on there :)
